Spot Plays for 6/11/2009

River Downs

Race 6: # 5 Royalewitcheese won easy last out and should make it two in a row today. He is in really good form right now which is key and he has had no issues handling this oval in the past. He has a really good off track record and with all the rain here in Cincy the track should be good and wet. With Edgar Paucar back aboard look for another winning run from Royalewitcheese today.

Race 12: # 2 Kandinsky returns to the Buckeye state today looking to return to his winning ways. His last race at Churchill wasn't his best effort and he might have been in over his head. He return to the oval he won over recently and he gets Perry Ouzts back aboard who won with him the last time they were together. Look for a big run from Kandinsky today.

Churchill Downs

Race 2: # 4 Dp the Facilitator won strongly last out and looks to make it two in a row today. He didn't handle the poly at Keeneland and when he got on conventional dirt he ran away from the field. Some might think that race was weak with it being at River but the second place finisher came back to win in his next out so that race might be key. Plus it was one of the fast times for that distance at River in quiet a while. Since that effort he has put in a very sharp workout at Keeneland showing he is ready to roll. Look for a winning run from this Wesley Ward trainee

Race 7: # 5 Congar makes his second start today and should break his maiden for fun. He didn't get off to the best of starts and rushed up into contention. He gets and extra 1/16 of a mile today and may be fit as he has a sharp workout at Thistledown saying he's ready. Trainer Tim Hamm has a way with two-year-olds and surely he has Congar tight and ready to roll. Julien Leparoux get the mount today.
