Spot Plays for 6/9/2009

River Downs

Race 1: # 4 A P's Boomin Baby makes her River debut today and should improve her form today. She turns back to dirt racing after not showing much on the turf at Indy and could improve her form. Trainer Eric Reed has been struggling a little at River but surely can turn things around today. Edgar Paucar picks up the mount which is a good sign. Look for a big run from A P's Boomin Baby today.

Race 8: # 9 I Can't Know makes his second start off of a layoff today and should be fitter today. He closed well last out into a very slow pace and looks like he can improve today. He shortens up in distance today which hopefully will lead to a faster pace to help his kick. If he can put it together today look for a winning run from I Can't Know today.

Delaware Park

Race 4: # 11 Espinosa is bred to run on the grass and should run a big one in this spot. He is making his first start today but seems ready to roll for this outing. He was nominated for the Triple Crown so the connections had to like him a bit. Steve Klesaris is doing okay at Delaware and should have Espinosa ready to fire first out

Indiana Downs

Race 6: # 4 Gloss ships to Indy for the first time today and should win easily. He closed well to win in his turf debut at Churchill and then didn't show much next out. Facing softer conditions today should key a decent run. Trainer Joe Woodard is having a very good meet up here and should have Gloss ready to roll today.

Mountaineer

Race 2: # 4 Marty's Hunch gets back on the grass today and should be very good today. He won for fun against similar last out in the dirt and now moves back to a surface that he has won on. Trainer Doug Shanyfelt is on fire right now and should have Marty's Hunch geared down and ready to roll. Dean Sarvis picks up the mount today.
