Spot Plays for 8/24/2009

Saratoga

Race 7: # 7 Blues Street drops in class for today's effort and should get home on top today. He likes to close from the clouds and the surface he has on is his last couple didn't help closer. This turf course plays more to late runners and if he gets a clean trip he will be dangerous. A jock switch to John Velazquez could be key in the improvement of Blues Street today.

Delaware

Race 4: # 3 Handleman makes his third start today and should get home on top today. His running style indicates he should handle two turns and his quick morning works show he may have some speed. Hopefully the pace will not be too hot and he can steal this race. Brian Hernandez, Jr. picks up the mount today.

Race 6: # 1 Lost At Dawn looks like she can pull an upset in this maiden race today. Her breeding shows she should handle the grass and she has put in some good 5/8th workouts down at Monmouth for her debut. She gets one of the most underrated turf riders in the country in Carlos Marquez, Jr. who should guide Lost At Dawn home first today.
