Spot Plays for 8/26/2009

Saratoga

Race 2: # 3 Jill's Kitten stretches out in distance today and should step forward today. She should enjoy the extra distance and a return to the turf course and hopefully can put it all together today. She has two good workouts since her last effort and a jock switch to Alan Garcia should help her improve. Look for a big run from Jill's Kitten today.

Race 7: # 1 Condemned makes his debut today and has the skills to fire first off the bench. He has been working well for this race including several works at today's distance. Five furlongs should be perfect for this son of Speightstown and hopefully he can get a good break and finish first today with John Velazquez in the irons.

Arlington Park

Race 7: # 10 Cat At Play won well in her debut at this distance and should step up to win another today. Her barn has been hot as of late at AP and since her last effort she has put in a few strong workouts over the Churchill oval for this return to the races. She gets one of the better turf jocks on the ground in Jermaine Bridgmohan in the saddle and hopefully they can team up for the win today.
