Spot Plays for 9/11/2009: God Bless America!!!

Monmouth Park

Race 5: # 2 More Than a Kiss makes her turf debut today and should improve today. She showed nothing last out over the dirt but she is bred to handle grass better. Plus her last effort was in the mud and she might not have taken to that surface. Switching to grass should be the key. Look for More Than a Kiss to pop at a price today.

Race 7: # 10 Berning Blaze drops in class for this effort and seems fit to fire today. He might have been over his head in that starter at the Spa and returning to his favorite track could be just what the doctor ordered. He gets the riding services of Carlos Marquez, Jr. who might be the best turf rider around. Look for a big effort from Berning Blaze today.

Belmont Park

Race 4: # 2 World Record ran evenly last out and should improve off of that effort. He is bred to run longer so look for improvement at this one mile distance. Since that last run he has put in an okay work up at Saratoga to prep for this outing and should fire today. Javier Castellano keeps the mount today.

Race 5: # 8 Eto'o make a nice move in his debut and has the skills to improve off of that run. Streching out should be the key for this son of Van Nistelroy and hopefully he can get the job done. Jose Lezcano stays aboard which is a good sign.

Arlington Park

Race 5: # 4 Sarahs Son makes his AP debut and should run well. He drops in class from stakes company to starter allowance and should catch a softer field today. He has run well on the turf in the past and hopefully he can adapt to the Arlington turf today. He gets James Graham aboard which could be the key to victory today. Look for another win for Sarahs Son today.

Turfway Park

Race 7: # 6 Lou's Angel makes his debut today and should fire first off the bat. Offsprings of Cactus Ridge seem to love the polytrack at Turfway and hopefully this one follows in the footsteps of others. He has been working strong for this run and gets Pablo Tolentino in the irons which should be key.
