Spot Plays for 9/13/2009

Belmont Park

Race 3: # 6 Street Sucess makes her debut today and should fire first off today. She comes from a very sharp barn and Todd Beattie doesn't ship to Belmont often but he comes ready to roll. He gets his go to rider in Ramon Dominguez who should get a good trip for Street Sucess today.

Race 9: # 5 Colony stretches out in distance today and should run well. He has made some strong moves at much shorter distances and will improve at this 1 3/8 mile distance. He comes from a sharp barn and gets one of the most underrated riders around in Rajiv Maragh. Look for a big run from Colony today.

Turfway Park

Race 9: # 4 Oliver's Cove returns from the bench today and should fire fresh off the layoff. He is unbeaten over all-weather surfaces and should step up in this race today. He has been working well for this return and should be ready to roll today with Dean Sarvis in the irons.

Arlington Park

Race 4: # 3 Corredor Dela Isla makes his turf debut today and should run well. He just missed last out over the poly at a mile and should be in a good stalking spot in this two-turn affair. He is making his third start off of a layoff and gets the riding services of E.T. Baird who is the money man at AP. Look for a winning effort from Corredor Dela Isla today.

Presque Isle Downs

Race 7: # 4 Cherokee Artist just missed last out over this oval and should step forward today. He has been off since July but has strong workouts to show he is ready for this return. He has good all-weather form and should fit nicely in this spot, Jeremy Rose picks up the mount which could be key today.
