Spot Plays for 5/15/2009

River Downs

Race 12: # 2 Dancing Don makes his third start off of the polytrack and should be much more effective. He has faced tougher runners in his first two starts over the oval and might find this race more suiting to him. There is some speed for him to chase and hopefully he can close well and get the top spot. Mathieu Adam retains the mount for trainer Kathy Lowry

Arlington Park

Race 5: # 6 Flying the Flag makes his second start today and should improve greatly. He showed very little over the Turf down at Tampa and must have not taken to that surface. Offsprings of Bernstein seem to hand polytrack just fine and he has a few strong works over at Keeneland for this effort. Christophe Clement doesn't ship to Arlington that often but when he does he comes loaded. Look for a winning effort from Flying the Flag today

Race 9: # 1 Celluloid Hero returns to Arlington and should get the job done today. He has been off since November and seemed to have needed that break. He has a string of workouts for this return and always fires fresh. His last Arlington run was great and hopefully he can return to that effort and get to the wire first today. Rene Douglas picks up the mount today

Indiana Downs

Race 7: # 3 Lovie won for fun in her main track debut at River and should transfer her form well to the Indy dirt track. She has some speed when in good form and should be on or near the front in the early stages. She shortens up in distance today and gets a new jock in Rodney Prescott who is one of the best in Indy. Look for a big run from Lovie today.

Pimlico

Race 6: # 3 Ahvee's Destiny ran big in her 2009 debut and surely can double up today. We have seen horses ship up from Gulfstream and run very well and hopefully she can keep the trend going. She really love the turf with 7 of her 8 wins coming over the lawn. With C. C. Lopez in the saddle lets hope that Ahvee's Destiny's Pimlico debut is a winning one
